 | Steering Damper
The steering damper offers the discerning road rider the performance he/she desires. WP’s steering damper has an oil circulation system that utilizes the „twin loop“ technology and has only a small reservoir that is filled with 8bar nitrogen. The low pressure in the oil chamber ensures a perfect performance. Overall, the suspension
is slightly progressive.
The nitrogen ensures that no thermal expansion of the oil occurs, thus the shock absorbtion remains constant.
The steering damper has a special adjustment which can be easily adjusted to one of it’s 32 settings using a needle system.
The special surface treatment of the 8mm thin piston rod, combined with special gaskets, reduces friction to a minimum.
A double-walled cylinder ensures a quick reaction even after tightening the clamping blocks.
The steering damper is available for most motorbike models and comes in 75, 90 and 120mm lengths.
